Planning Engineer – Job Description / Job Requirement

• Prepares and Updates Projects status, labour histogram and Financial forecast
• Prepares cash flow and projects monitoring and update
• Project monitoring and update
• Select the appropriate techniques and sequence of events for a particular project
• Draws up plans and presents schedules of work, often with visual aids such as bar charts and procedures diagrams using specialist planning computer software
• Prepares logistics plans and pricing schedules for individual projects
• Monitors progress throughout the construction process and compare this with the projected schedule of work
• Liaising with the site agent and surveyor throughout the process, making adjustments to projects as necessary • Plans and oversees the entire program of work
• Ensure compliance with Denholm YAM Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Systems
• Ensures that all activities are performed within the provisions of the Integrated Management System requirements
• Develops the most appropriate method and sequence of construction operations for a particular project.
• Provides advice and support on the development of specific systems
