Senior Bidding Planning Engineer – Job Description

• The candidate shall work closely with the construction team in studying the tenders and advising the tender team on the best solution in executing the project
• Calculate manhours for trades
• Prepare manhour histograms and productivity reports
• Calculate equipment and plant hours
• Prepare plant/equipment histograms
• Prepare tender schedules in primavera
• Prepare schedule/project narratives
• Analyse construction methodologies and prepare phasing/staging logic sequencing of projects
• Prepare formwork movements and phasing
• Conversant with temporary traffic management analysis/requirements in tenders when required
• Knowledgeable in basement and foundation works inclusive temporary works
• Knowledgeable in construction methodologies
• Knowledgeable in understanding and interpreting tender documentation – technical/commercial/contractual
• Experience in preparing presentations and explaining to management his works
• Reconciling schedule with estimators

Senior Bidding Planning Engineer – Job Requirement

• Good track record/experience in working within a tendering team
• Good communication skills/team player
• Capacity to work on several projects in tandem
• Good experience working on building & infrastructure projects with an emphasis on building
• Committed to working to deadlines – for internal reviews and submission of tenders
• Degree educated
• Primavera/Microsoft project/power point/excel
