Senior Planning Engineer – Job Description

• Assess and prepare comprehensive staffing requirements and Organization Structure for each project.
• Prepare mobilization, demobilization and scheduling plan for all VOR Team mainly Startup/SIMOPS and Engineering (Engineers and Technicians) manpower for each VP Project from FEED until EPIC Completion.
• Coordinate with VOR/Business Support Senior Contract Engineer for arranging manpower from VOR Manpower Call off Contract (if required) to support manpower requirement for each project from FEED until EPIC Completion.
• Coordinate with Startup/SIMOPS Lead Commissioning Engineer and Engineering Lead to identify manpower assignment for multiple projects at the same time (parallel) which to be incorporated in mobilization, demobilization and scheduling plan for each team member especially those from VOT Manpower Call-off Contract.
• Support Asset Holder to assess and determine Operations and Maintenance staffing requirements for the future organization (if required) in coordination and input from Startup/SIMOPS Division.
• Develop and prepare Training Requirement and Plan for each project for;
  • Starlup/SI MOPS (Commissioning) Staff.
  • VOR Engineering Staff.
  • Operations Staff.
  • Maintenance Staff.
• Coordinate with HRO (as required) for Competencies Catalogue Review & Updates for each assigned project.
• Submit and follow-up until approval Consent to Operate (CTO) Application to MME through BC Department on behalf of Asset Holder.
• Provide ORP (Operations Readiness Plan) Completeness Confirmation for relevant actions to Startup/SIMOPS Commissioning Team Leader.

Senior Planning Engineer – Job Requirement

• B. Sc. or equivalent in an Engineering Discipline.
• Minimum 10 years experience in project engineering with 5 years experience in planning projects in Oil & Gas industries.
• Experience includes project manpower planning and scheduling, training planning and manpower requirement assessment
• Work experience in the Arabian Gulf Countries is desirable.
• High level of computer literacy with MS Office and relevant Project Planning software including Primavera & MS Project.
• Well-developed analytical and reporting skills.
• Proficient level of computer literacy with relevant MS Office/Project Control Software packages.
