Job – Plant & Equipment (Workshop) Manager (Tunnels)
Job Description:
- Assign responsibilities of the Workshop personnel.
- Define and update detailed equipment maintenance and repair plans and schedule giving priorities where necessary.
- Ensure on time request for necessary workshop personnel, materials, consumables and equipment.
- Manage repair and maintenance of project’s equipment to minimize downtime.
- Ensure that equipment is kept safe and in good condition during the project and after their release from it.
- Manage Workshop (repairs, inventory, resources, etc.) in a cost-effective way.
- Ensure that Workshop personnel are being developed and utilized as per their qualifications.
- Ensure compliance with HSE respective corporate policies and procedures, project’s specific HSE plans and local laws and regulations.
- Feed the knowledge center of the Department with new information and ensures the sharing of knowledge within his area of responsibility.
- Assess risks to maintain the risk profile within set limits
Job Qualifications:
- Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 20 years of proven experience in large EPC projects and at least 1 completed NATM tunnel project as Workshop Manager
- Good command in English both oral and written.
- Proven leadership skills.
- Result driven and decisive personality
