Job Title – Procurement Manager Jobs in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Responsibilities:

Design and implement procurement strategy in relation to the business requirements.
Manage Guide and monitor the execution of strategic and operational sourcing processes.

Meticulously maintain, process, and update all documents to prepare reports, analyses presentations and contracts.
Liaise with the Joinery and Fit-out Project Team to furnish them with tender documentation and pricing schedules.
Monitor performance and compliance of vendors, lead and complete the tender commercial evaluation and analysis of returns.

Undertake the negotiation of contracts where there may be complex choices requiring full market analysis.
Prepare the required documents, and review and process purchase requisitions.
Conduct market research and supplier analysis to identify market trends for opportunities to reduce cost.

Optimize working relationship with its suppliers. Perform vendor management activities that involve cost management, risk management, contract negotiations, and performance evaluation.
Perform ad-doc activities as required by General Manager.

Educational requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or similar discipline

Experience requirements:

10 Years’ experience in similar position from joinery and fit out industry

Desired Skills:

Strong negotiation skills
Goal Oriented

Quick study – able to gain a fact-based understanding of current supplier base, supplier economics and major trends in relevant markets.
Highly organized and detail oriented.
Sound knowledge of using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); PIVOT, VLOOKUP

Qualifications:

Ability to work in a team environment with members of varying skill levels.
Highly motivated.

Learns quickly.
