Senior Planning Engineer – Job Responsibilities

• Update progress and production of variance reports as required including critical path and earned value analysis and mitigation proposals.
• To ensure the development of the planning team and project team including supply chain in the processes of planning.
• Implementation of Company procedures.
• Presentation and negotiations of program entitlement for additional works where necessary.
• Appraisal and coordination of all subcontractors’ programs and feedback to them on changing main program information.
• Assist in the management of change in regards of impact on programs and progress.
• Effective working with other planners to develop an integrated program;
• To prepare comprehensive site layouts sequences and prepare presentations as necessary.
• To liaise with the client, designers, subcontractors, suppliers and local authorities for all matters relating to planning.
• Help establish and manage the Last Planner collaborative planning sessions.

Senior Planning Engineer – Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree In engineering
• Experience 12-15 Years.
• Knowledge/experience of EPC projects in the Oil & Gas Field
• Detailed knowledge of planning complex interfaces across multiple projects.
• Confident in facilitating workshops to develop detailed project plans and for progress monitoring/reporting,
• Experience in Earned Value Management techniques and reporting,
• Experience using Primavera P6 inc. full cost and material loading.
• Knowledge/experience of planning and monitoring processes through various stages of the project lifecycle.
