Responsibilities :

- - - Functional Aspects:
      - Lead and manage a team to develop and implement Environment Technologies for NEOM Environment Assurance
      - Recommend new solutions/technologies that are in line with NEOM Environment technology strategy to ensure that programs/products remain at the cutting edge of technology development.
      - Drive strategic discussions regarding Environment Technologies program objectives and KPIs.
      - Plan & coordinate all the technology development activities.
      - Prepare recommendations and provide guidance to expand and enhance existing technology use and functionalities.
      - Monitor and supervise development activities & identify priorities.
      - Manage development teams, technical consultants and contractors who are implementing the technology solutions for NEOM Environment Assurance.
      - Manage multiple hardware suppliers and installation teams and ensure coordination with construction site teams to deploy hardware.
      - Testing newly developed technology tools and products and ensure acceptance by the product stakeholders.
      - Analyzing current AI and ML solutions and technology trends then making recommendations for future projects.
      - Identify potential partnerships around NEOM that will benefit program delivery.
      - Ensure all aspects of the program are in line with the various KSA and NEOM requirements and regulations.
      Project Management and Project Delivery
      - Monitor project progress and set deadlines.
      - Defining and documenting project scope.
      - Planning everything from execution to delivery.
      - Draft scopes of work and lead the procurement process for the various technology projects.
      - Fully manage and be accountable for project budget and finances.
      - Directing the team to achieve a common goal.
      - Conducting regular meetings.
      - Managing documentation and reports.
      - Use different methodologies for business requirement gathering such as Waterfall & Agile.
      - Ensure the business requirements are documented and detailed.

Educational requirements:

MSc in a business, engineering, IT, or environment-related field.

Experience requirements:

8-12 years of experience in a digital transformation/ innovation role or experience in leading similar complex projects as Project Manager
Experience in digital transformation, digital business ecosystems, or latest information technologies like ML, AI, Cloud, IoT

Experience in environmental and sustainability management is a strong advantage

Desired Skills:

Excellent computer software skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power Bi)
Excellent analytical, conceptual, and creative problem-solving skills combined with an entrepreneurial “can-do” mindset

Proven ability to communicate complex ideas clearly (written and spoken) in English and ideally Arabic
Team player mindset with strong interpersonal skills and willingness to travel across the region and internationally

Qualifications:

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
Outstanding university/business school degree, ideally in business, engineering or IT from a globally renowned university
