Job Title – Transport Duty Supervisor Jobs in Doha, Qatar

Responsibilities:

  • Manages staff, operational functions, meal/product uplifts, On-Time Performance (OTP) and Customer Liaison to ensure that customers are provided with highest standard service.
  • Supervises and handles delivery to any Complex, Ultra-Long Haul (ULH), VIP, Charters, Private and other ad hoc operations, as and when required in order to ensure safe and on-time operation.
  • Monitors adherence to Ramp Safety, Security and Marshalling procedures of High Loaders while performing airside duties in order to ensure that ramp operations staff fully comply with ramp safety requirements. Ensures no deviation in quality of service or customer standards by following the food safety procedures, security procedures and the agreed standards between QACC and its customers.
  • Suggests training programs for all new and existing staff and provides timely feedback for succession planning.
  • Coordinates and prepares action plans and resolution in the event of Operational Emergencies/ (additional) Manpower requirement/Aircraft Changes/HL Technical issues.
  • Leads Customer Service Agents, Loading Assistants, and Equipment Operators to load/offload flights as per schedule and procedures.
  • Provides prompt information to superiors for any incident and event that requires immediate action/decision. Prepares clear and detailed reports with facts and figures in case of flight delays/accident/incidents or any operational emergencies.
  • Prepares management reports (ex. Attendance, Ramp Safety, KPl’s and Man-hours) as required.
  • Conducts investigations on customer and staff complaints / Voyage Reports (VR) and other departmental complaints and suggests a preventive/corrective course of action to prevent recurrence.
  • Reviews existing systems and procedures and forwards timely recommendation to SD management.
  • Coordinates with all concerned HODs (Head of Department) within and outside the organization in case of any emergency.
  • Manages the process and procedures of Transport section and all transport and ramp safety training, accident reporting and vehicle safety checks

 

Educational requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 2 years of job-related experience. High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 3 years of job-related experience

 

Experience requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 2 years of job-related experience. High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 3 years of job-related experience

Desired Skills:

  • Computer Literate with the knowledge of MS Office/ Word/ Excel
  • Good Spoken and Written English
  • Effective Communication skill with internal and external Customers.
  • Ability to work under Pressure
  • Knowledge of Food Safety And Air safety
  • HGV Driving License
  • Experience in Driver Training, Vehicle Maintenance and Fleet management.
