Job – Tunnel Supervisor

Job Description:

Employment: Full Time
My client is a leading international contractor who work on major construction projects all over the world and have an excellent reputation.

• They have recently been awarded a major civils engineering project that forms part of the NEOM development and are looking to recruit an experienced tunnel supervisor who will be managing the construction of different parts of the project, especially those related with the concrete of the tunnel consisting on drilling, blasting, grouting, concrete lining supervising the tunnel an structures engineers, preparing estimates for time and material, completing quality assurance, observing health and safety standards, and compiling reports for different stakeholders.
• Organizing materials and ensuring sites are safe and clean.
• Preparing cost estimates and ensuring appropriate materials and tools are available.
• Providing technical advice and suggestions for improvement on constructability of the project.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment as required.
• Authorizing technical drawings and engineering plans.
• Drawing up work schedules and communicating any adjustments to crew members and clients.

Job Requirement:

• Candidates should a degree in civil engineering or an equivalent subject and should have a Construction and Supervisor Safety Course in Tunnelling.
• Candidates must have worked on major tunnel construction projects and must have experienced of drill and blast tunnelling.
