Job Description & Qualifications  :

What You’ll Be Doing

This role reports to the Design for Value Sr. Manager and rationalize the following through design development stages:

• Respect for the environment
• Intergenerational equity
• Ecological integrity and Net-gain
• Social justice

• Responsibility and stewardship.
• Rationalize planet value through design development by understand the importance of incorporating sustainability values into the design process and provide design decisions alignment with these values.
• Identifying opportunities for resource conservation and efficiency by identify opportunities to minimize resource consumption, reduce waste, and increase energy efficiency throughout the design process.
• Analyzing the environmental impact of design decisions through tools such as life cycle assessment to evaluate the environmental impact of different design options and will provide recommendations for the most sustainable options.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams by working with other design professionals to integrate sustainability values into the design process.
• Staying up to date with industry best practices and trends in sustainable design and will use this knowledge to provide valuable insights and recommendations to clients.
• Facilitating the integration of sustainability values into the design process by establishing a framework for incorporating sustainability values into the design process and will help to ensure that these values are considered throughout the design development stages.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring

• A degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field may be helpful for this role, although practical experience in the field may also be sufficient.
• 10+ years’ experience in Environmental, Social Value, IFC and green finance requirement.

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring

• Expertise in sustainable design: The consultant should have a strong understanding of sustainable design principles and practices and should be able to apply this knowledge to the design process.
• Analytical skills: The consultant should have strong analytical skills and should be able to use tools such as life cycle assessment to evaluate the environmental impact of different design options.
