Accountant – Job Description

• Prepare monthly accounts.
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and yearly book close activities and prepare the periodic revenue statements and related analysis reports.
• Responsible for accurate and timely input of journal entries, account reconciliations, revenue ledger related financial activities and assigning entries to proper accounts for the month.
• Banks Reconciliation.
• Assist in preparing the financial statements.
• Support during quarterly reviews and periodic internal + external audits
• Prepare internal management reports.
• Assist in developing revenue projections during forecast and budget cycle.
• Prepare invoices and follow up on payments with Clients.
• Filing and handling all company financial documents.
• Handles the petty cash records of the company.
• Handling other general and administrative tasks.
• Prepare tender documents and arrangements.

Accountant – Job Requirement

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 5+ years of relative experience in Contracting companies.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA or CPA is preferred.
• Knowledge and experience of working with Oracle ERP systems are preferred.
• Good knowledge of data analytics tools such a Tableau is a plus.
• Multi-tasking, self-motivated, energetic team player with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
• Residing in Qatar.
