Job – Accountant

Job Description / Requirements:

  • Forwarding invoices to accounts teams for payments
  • Timely follow-up with accounts for the payment of the invoices as per the agreed terms and stages with the vendors
  • Obtaining relevant supporting for the invoicing and payments e.g. completion certificate, reports, etc.
  • Tracking of the payments
    Procurement:
  • Preparation of payment memos and other related topics.
  • Processing payment of Utilities with relevant memos and supporting
  • Maintaining, filing and organizing memos, contracts, important documentation, and other as relevant in hard and soft copy format.
  • Follow-up and track the approvals with various departments and fast tracking the internal processes to meet the commitments
  • Providing assistance with preparation of memos, communications, reports, presentations and other documents using the Microsoft Office suite
  • Acting as coordinator and main point of contact for the team for any queries and managing them
  • Extensive diary management of the team – including arranging meetings with internal/external parties
  • Purchasing office supplies, stationery and stock
  • Performing other relevant administrative duties when needed.

  • Manage all accounting transactions
  • Prepare budget forecasts
  • Publish financial statements in time
  • Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
  • Ensure timely bank payments
  • Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
