Job – Business Testing Lead, ekaterra, Egypt (Short-term)

Job Description:

Job Type: (Short-term Contract/Blossom project) – Immediate Hire

Work Location: Egypt

• Lead the preparation of integrated Business Testing activities from the testing strategy formulation, though testing coordination, up the defects resolution, working hand-in-hand with Functional Consultants, Key Users and SMEs supporting the Business Testing process.
• Confirm the approach and scope for business testing to comply with the Central Test Strategy, adjust and align to any specific local requirement or/and leadership priorities.
• Create testing execution strategy, align and organize testing facilities and agree on the testing schedule with testers. Align and provide testing data, if necessary. Collaborate with all necessary stakeholders for test environment management (interfaces, correction transports etc.).
• Identify Key Users and SMEs to support the testing process to meet the programme timelines. Communicate key roles & responsibilities and assure availability for testing activities.
• Coordinate the creation of business test scripts based on the SIT scenarios input. Assure the finalization and sign-off for the final Business Testing scope.
• Manage day-to-day Business Testing progress in line with the strategy, governance, and project timelines. Report daily progress and provide all necessary input for regular follow-up testing progress meetings.
• Coordinate the resolution of key defects including the local definition of any manual procedures, coordinate with internal or/and external parties on timely defect resolution.
• Coordinate the timely sign-off and provide all necessary sign-off materials for internal as well as external stakeholders, where necessary.

Support the aims of the Global Template/Process, KDDs and ensure the business users/SMEs remain aligned. Coordinate the Change Request process as well as Regression Testing, if necessary.

Stakeholder Management and key interfaces

The role ensures effective global, regional and local internal and external stakeholders’ collaboration across all organization levels.

The role ensures effective external Vendors and IT Support Centers collaboration.

Job Qualifications:

Skills and Experience

• Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science/ Electronics & Computer Science, OR any equivalent degree course.
• Minimum 4-6 years of experience as a test coordinator/test lead on at least 3 E2E implementation.
• Understanding of leading test practices for large-scale implementations as well as testing infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of business processes and integration points across functional streams.
• Functional SAP experience on 2-3+ E2E implementations is nice to have esp. in the areas of Finance or Supply Chain.
• Experience establishing and managing complex schedules, plans and trackers.
• Ability to proactively identify and solve problems logically and autonomously (e.g. troubleshooting, root cause analysis, remediations).
• Ability to work in international and cross-cultural team and environment.
• Communicative, with good time management and prioritization skills.
• Hands-on expertise with leading test management tools.
