    Role Purpose:
    The Data Analyst is responsible for collaborating with stakeholders and internal customers to provide commercial and provocative perspectives on the opportunities, issues and challenges in order to ensure effective development of products and digital offerings. The role holder is also responsible for leveraging data analytics to develop insights that will enhance decision making processes.
    Role Details – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
    Market Research and Business Insights

    • Conduct market research to identify relevant customer and market segments in order to support the omni-channel function to define the product and digital offerings.
    • Prepare reports for product teams and various stakeholders on a regular basis in order to share business insights to support on digital initiatives.
    • Plan and administer market surveys for various regions, products and services in order gather inputs that will contribute to business decisions.
    • Leverage analytical reporting tools to provide business insights and report on market activities and, identify areas for improvement in collaboration with Data Scientists and Data Engineers.
    • Collaborate with omni-channel stakeholders to design and develop business intelligence solutions based on market insights.
    • Provide integrated analytical solutions to the senior management related to products and digital offerings.

    Competitor Intelligence

    • Track competitors on a periodic basis and highlights any potential opportunities to the Product teams.
    • Conduct specific research on competitors on need-basis and report results to stakeholders in a timely manner.

    Human Capital Responsibilities

    • Proactively identify and seek professional development opportunities to improve leadership and technical skills pertaining to the direct line of work.
    • Apply and follow MAFR’s Human Capital corporate policies and relevant procedures and instructions.
    • Provide feedback to colleagues, when required.

    Financial Responsibilities

    • Monitor allocated budget to ensure compliance and take corrective measures when necessary.
    • Provide inputs on the development of annual budget.
    • Develop necessary measures towards continuous reduction of the operational cost.
    • Provide inputs while developing MAF Retail’s corporate policies and relevant procedures, and monitor the implementation.
