Job Title – Events and Communication Specialist – (2200001Z) Jobs in Al-Khuzama – Saudi Arabia

Responsibilities:

Implement action plans to promote person-centered care in your area.
Follow all relevant unit policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner while delivering a quality service to customers and stakeholders.
Assist in preparing and updating policies and procedures.

Coordinate with and support IT in the implementation of enhancements and improvements to systems and processes and resolution of system issues, if any.
Adhere to compliance with bylaws, rules, and regulations adopted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and by SGH.
Assist in developing a communication plan as well as a media relations strategy that promotes, protects, and builds on the Saudi German Hospital Group’s reputation to drive engagement, alignment, and understanding of SGH’s business objectives, strategy, and priorities.

Facilitate media events as appropriate and generate press release material, conduct interviews and press conferences to ensure efficient communication of all achievements, news, and project development to enhance SGH’s image.
Draft internal communication announcements periodically to communicate events, share news, and announce new projects, etc. to keep all the SGH employees informed of all key activities.
Brainstorm and provide input whenever possible and ensure that materials are consistent with overall messaging for specific social media and website web content and releases (pictures, videos, articles, etc.), and ensure that the message is communicated clearly and is aligned with SGH’s group communication strategy.

Edit and amend internal and external communications such as newsletters, social media posts, etc…
Identify the list of designated spokespeople at SGH, key stakeholders, and physicians who will be in direct contact with the press to ensure the SGH brand is being promoted in the right way.
Develop a proper communication plan in the event of a crisis that encompasses the steps and guidelines required to communicate with the media, the public, and key stakeholders.

Support the Group Communications & Events Manager in planning, organizing, and managing all sorts of preparations for the events including but not limited to conferences, forums, summits, etc. according to executive instructions to ensure effective execution in line with plans, standards, and objectives and reach optimal marketing spending with all relevant agencies.
Coordinate and schedule meetings with the Branding & Communications (B&C) heads to develop a comprehensive and strategic set of special events and promotions to tactically achieve the objectives and strategies of the division’s plan.
Contribute to the preparation of timely and accurate reports to meet unit requirements, policies, and standards.

Responsible for confidentially of information that they access or came across during their employment at SGH.
Maintain professional growth and development to keep abreast of the latest trend in the work scope.
Attend CARE training sessions and other training as required. Provide solutions to meet and exceed patients’ expectations.

Perform other related duties or assignments as directed by the group Group Communications & Events Manager.
Participate in hospital committees, task-force meetings, and other meetings as required.
Develop and implement action plans to promote person-centered care in your area. Person-centered care revolves around staff, patients and their families, and the community. At SGH, the person-centered care principles are summarized by the CARE (connect-assist-respect-explain) communication and service standards.

Abide by communication and service standards at all times.
Attend training and coaching sessions for communication and service standards.
Service recovery: offer options and solutions to meet and exceed patient’s expectations. Retaining patients and gaining their loyalty is a key part of your role.

Work on improving patient satisfaction in your area.
Abide by CARE communication and service standards when interacting with other staff members or with patients and families
Attend CARE training sessions and other training as required

Educational requirements:

Master in Marketing/Communication/Events or Bachelor in Marketing/Events/Communication Degree

Experience requirements:

Minimum of one (1) year experience in the same position in a large reputable organization.

Desired Skills:

Computer literate can demonstrate communications skills effectively, having good public relations or rapport with colleagues and the community.

Fluent in English and Arabic

Qualifications:

Ability to work in a team environment with members of varying skill levels.
Highly motivated.

Learns quickly.
Proficiency both in English and Arabic is preferred.
