Job Title – Head of Quality Jobs in Mesaieed, Qatar

Responsibilities:

Plan, lead and organize the activities of the Quality Section to ensure timely achievement of plans, programs, and audits.
Optimize and efficiently utilize available manpower and resources and motivate staff to realize potential and make significant contributions to the organisation.

Advise Management on areas for Improvement in the Integrated Management System.
Report to Management during Review Meetings on the QAFCO’s overall performance of the Integrated Management System and the necessary information to make appropriate decisions towards fulfilment of the systems’ requirements and towards continued improvement.
Keep updated on the changes in the ISO requirements, and new standards, and advise management, the needs and expectations of new ISO standards as adopted for the organisation or proposed to be adopted for the organisation.

Develop and follow-up the Section’s manpower plans, result & action plans and budgets.
Continuously monitor progress and priorities and make necessary adjustments to ensure effective cost control.
Ensure that the Quality Management System’s requirements are established, implemented, maintained (within QAFCO) and updated in accordance with the adopted Quality Management System and the QAFCO Corporate Policy.

Promote and coordinate the inclusion of requirements from the Environment Management System, Energy Management System, Occupational Health and Safety Management System, Responsible Care, and IFA Product Stewardship.
Ensure that necessary elements of the integrated management systems at QAFCO are incorporated within managements systems adopted at functional levels.
Monitor areas of concerns with respect to the adopted integrated management systems and provide recommendations/solutions for continual improvement for the benefit of QAFCO.

Lead teams / task force as and when assigned by line management/management for carrying out special studies, improvement initiatives etc.
Keep informed of relevant developments in the Integrated Management System (adopted ISO standards) to identify and recommend opportunities for Continual Improvement to QAFCO Management.
Promote Quality Management System awareness within the company. Organize or design and deliver Quality-related training to all levels in the company.

Plan, Coordinate and deliver training on new ISO requirements with respect to the Integrated Management Systems.
Develop and enhance the competencies of the internal auditors for the integrated management systems.
Plan, communicate and coordinate internal audits/external certification audits within QAFCO Divisions/Departments/Sections to ensure that the functions are following and adhering to the requirements of QAFCO’s Integrated Management System.

Be a focal point and establish effective working relationship with external organizations (e.g., Auditors, Shareholders, QatarEnergy group companies, etc.,) on Integrated Management Systems issues.

Educational requirements:

Minimum of bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline.

Should have thorough knowledge of Quality Management Systems and applications.

Experience requirements:

Minimum 10 years direct and relevant experience in similar role.
