Planning Engineer/Manager Hotel Projects – Job Description

o Prepare and gather all data and information required for effective planning/scheduling, monitoring and controlling the execution of activities of the project.

o Preparing the construction schedule in Primavera P6. Preparation of other planning documents (like Progress S Curve, Earn Value Curve, Man power Histogram etc.).

o Preparation of project Cash flow, and estimated budget required.

o Resource planning (labor & material) and its tracking on regular basis. Calculate its efficiency of and utilization factors of all deployed resources based on the actual progress.

o Finding Critical Path of project with regular monitoring and preparing schedule impact reports for the project management.

o Coordinate with other internal departments regarding the interfacing of construction activities, material & equipment availability.

o Preparation of Daily, Weekly and Monthly Progress Report to be submitted to Project Manager and Project Consultant.

o Preparing Project Presentations, Cash Flow, S-Curve regularly. Set Weekly / monthly / quarterly targets for execution team & monitor the same.

o Coordinating and conducting meetings with contractors/vendors for timely completion of project as per planned schedule.

o Study of contract documents, specifications, tender working and BOQ.

o Approval of plan and methodology by Project manager/Consultant.

o Monitoring the progress of the project at different stages of its development. Proactively assessing progress, completion forecasts and providing solutions to mitigate schedule delays or to optimize project completion.

o Arrange and attend the schedule review meetings as and when required.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCES REQUIRED

– Proven experiences in Luxury and 5 stars Hotel Projects

– Have 10 to 15 years of experience on Building Projects.

– Have experience in developing Overall Project Schedules using Primavera P6

– Generating various detail Monitoring Schedules,

– Preparing Progress Curves,

– Monthly Reports and Variance analysis
