Job Title – Production Planner Jobs in Dammam, Ash Sharqīyah, Saudi Arabia

Responsibilities:

You as an Production Planner will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. You will be focusing on scheduling production, processing, assembly and packaging activities. Scheduling the human resources, tools, and equipment needed for the production process. Selecting and sequencing available resources and required processing to individual work centers or lines. Responsibilities: Generating a detailed production schedule based on the project plan to maximize the use of resources and meet established production specifications and schedules.

Creating detailed production schedule. Manufacturing work orders. Executing daily, plant-level materials requirement planning (MRP) to create and manage production requirements to meet the production delivery schedules. Establishing sequence and leading time of each operation to meet shipment dates per the master schedule or plan obtained from the production planners. Reviewing SAP routings.
Reacting daily to MRP in order to manage production and meet on time delivery. Initiating picking process for timely delivery of materials to the production line. Closure or production orders timely. Monitoring schedule adherence identifies key root causes for deviation and takes follow-up improvement action.
Tracking job progress and insure correct flow of information. Feeding information on production capacity issues and material availability to production planners. Strong communication and organizing skills. Knowledge in Excel. Ability to learn, flexible, open-minded and team-work oriented. Proficiency in both spoken & written English is required.

Educational requirements:

Your background: A bachelor’s degree in engineering.

Experience requirements:

2 years of experience in similar position. Experience with SAP or similar ERP system.
