Job – Production Manager

Job Description:

• This persons is responsible in for making or improving different types of tools to enable the production processes within a manufacturing facility to be as efficient as possible.
• This may include jigs, fixtures, clamps or moulds to obtain a more robust consistently produced part that meets the specification of the customer.
• Likely to manage others and have some budgetary responsibilities.
• Effectively communicate organizational objectives, priorities, and policies with the Aerospace team and key reports.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators for evaluating performance.
• Engage and work collaboratively with the leadership team and demonstrate accountability
• Adjusts priorities, and keeps others appropriately informed, to meet production schedules.
• Adhere and Maintain WMS Policy, and comply with ISO 9001, ISO 14001,OHSAS 18001,API SPEC Q1 and AS 9100 standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing management
• Strong technical knowledge of CNC Machining including 5 Axis Milling strongly preferred
• A minimum of five years of experience in aerospace manufacturing (AS9100)
• Knowledge of manufacturing methods, operations management, process improvement and quality.
