Job Description
- Managing project and ensure project is delivered within budget and on time; with quality as planned. Ensure projects risks are reported to higher management together with solutions and alternatives
- Responsible for managing a project through the project life cycle. (planning to close out) Overall leadership of the project team ensuring safely, timeliness, and to-cost delivery of the projects.
- Responsible to ensure the delivered products meet the needs of the stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Directs the project planning, design; construction and approval processes.
- Runs the project schedule and negotiates interdependencies.
- Co-ordinates with all parties involved with the project; internal departments, consultants and contractors.
- Conducts the project management plan ensuring stakeholders are considered.
- Monitors progress against targets and solves complex issues between stakeholders.
- Manages project budgets and reports progress against budget.
- Creates and reviews (Request for Proposal) RFP documents and coordinate with all stakeholders then assesses the investors proposals
- Customizing the Project briefs, technical scope of work and preliminary Concept plan requirements for the land masses for all developments.
- Ensuring that the service delivery required from other Departments (i.e. Planning & Development, Procurement) is on time and as per project needs.
- Keeps management updated on the technical aspects of development and drives the service providers to deliver as per agreements
- Coordination with all departments on all technical requirements and delivery
- Oversee the delivery of projects according to agreed time frames
- Resolves and coordinate with relevant service providers such as Operations, on technical, engineering and maintenance requirements
- Coordinate with the procurement department and work within their framework.
- Act on behave of the Commercial Department to provide the in-house development and technical expertise to full needs of the Commercial Division and the Commercial Subsidiaries.
Desired Skills & Experience
Language
- Verbal and written English, Arabic (optional)
Educational Qualification
- BS Degree in Engineering – Civil
Technical:
- Ability to prepare and analyze reports, statements, and correspondence
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Problem solving skills & Time management skills
- Technical skills and proven track of Record of experience in Infrastructure projects (Roads, Utilities: Water, Power, Sewerage…etc)
Professional
- Experienced in the application of the principles and practices of project management

- Ability to engage with stakeholders and establish a high level of credibility.
- The Role Holder acts independently in managing the day-to-day requirements for the position.

- Experience with service authorities as RTA, DEWA, SEWA, Dubai Multiplicity & Sharjah Multiplicity.
- Roads & Infrastructure experience
- 10 – 12 years or more experience in engineering and Construction Project Management
