Job Title – Service Engineer Jobs in Ash Sharqīyah, Egypt
Responsibilities:
- You as a Service Engineer will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in 10th of Ramadan City, Egypt. You will be collaborating with the service sales manager and service manager implements Service sales strategy. Penetrates IB, promotes various upgrade, retrofit and value add solutions to the benefit of the customer and Hitachi Energy. Understanding the channel strategy and the establishment of related prices and prepares sales plans, reviews them and proposes recovery plan(s) when needed. Responsibilities: Generating service sales leads and develops new market opportunities by utilizing market trend information, identifying and exploring potential new service portfolios.
- Taking a One Hitachi Energy approach to leverage other colleagues’ portfolios. Establishing long term customer relationships by understanding customer requirements and applicable regulations and demonstrating in-depth technical service product or solutions knowledge to promote Life Cycle Management (LCM). Registering customer feedback and ensures customer satisfaction throughout the sales process. Executing service work with low to medium complexity according to work instructions and in accordance with Hitachi Energy standard processes, quality standards and safety guidelines. Delivering quality customer service to satisfy customers.
- In close co-operation with customer and other Hitachi Energy teams, take actions to identify new service business opportunities for Hitachi Energy. Performing service tasks like installation and commissioning of equipment and routine maintenance independently, identifies technical problems and makes analysis through remote or on-site activity in different service categories. Contributing to customer satisfaction by executing service work according to customer order and expectation. Maintaining a good relationship with customers. Identifying new sales opportunities and communicates them internally. Coordinating, preparing, and ensuring that all materials, parts and equipment are available and at the appropriate quality for service activities.
- Preparing all documents and reports to be signed by the customer representative. Reporting work done in a timely manner and follows up when needed. Troubleshooting simple equipment failure and makes recommendations to avoid repeating the problem in the future. Providing recommendations to management to improve operations and customer service. - Ability to operate reliably under difficult circumstances. Willing to work on missions around Egypt and other African countries. Proficiency in Microsoft word, PowerPoint, excel and outlook. Strong analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills. Ability to Self-motivated and have strong sense of responsibility. Ability to safely work in regions of high voltage. Proven leadership skills to lead group of work. Ability to travel. Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
Educational requirements:
- Your background: A bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
Experience requirements:
- 2+ years of experience and knowledge in services of High voltage products.
