Job Title – Subsurface Manager Jobs in Oman

Responsibilities:

Formulate and define short-term and long-term strategies for the exploration, appraisal and subsurface development.
Conceptualize business chain from exploration to production.

Optimize subsurface activities in the Contact Area and ensure certification of reserve conducted by concerned parties.
Develop subsurface operational plans and ensure data acquisitions and evaluations in the team.
Establish and maintain proper communication channels with Management, Partners, Government Agencies and other related parties to ensure that they receive pertinent and required information.

Ensure the motivational environment, harmonious culture, training, and career development plan for staff.
Utilize technical expertise and management skills to ensure all activities related to Subsurface team are carried out, in an economic and orderly manner.
Motivate assigned personnel to improve their skills to fulfil their job requirements.

Monitor daily subsurface activities and forecast future outcome on short-term and long-term basis.
Ensure accurate and up-to-date information and reports on resource evaluation, appraisal studies, and project progress to Management and shareholders ·
Promote the implementation of Company’s HSE policy and regulations in all works under responsibility.

Accountable for overall costs, safety and environmental performance of the subsurface team.
Direct the preparation of annual work program and budget in coordination with Finance Division and propose to management for approval.

Educational requirements:

Candidate has proven track record Academically he, she has minimum Bachelor Degree or equivalent degree in the sciences or engineering disciplines Oil & Gas.

Experience requirements:

Minimum 15 years experience, preferably with operator, with respect experience in exploration , seismic acquisition and processing and field development processes.

Ability to motivate others.

Team working skills.
Good knowledge of building methods and regulations.
