Job Title – Systems Engineer Jobs in United Arab Emirates

Responsibilities:

Primary responsibility will be administering the cloud platform (Microsoft Azure) including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, provisioning, deployment, backup, patching, upgrading, etc.
Additional responsibilities will include administering other communication and collaboration platforms like Zoom, Webex, etc.
Will work closely with the Senior Systems Engineers and provide Administrative support on servers such as DNS, DHCP, SharePoint, File servers, Azure, Office365, Video Conferencing solutions, Backups, etc.

Will be an escalation point for the User support engineers for various issues.
Will handle the installation and configuration of servers and server applications in conjunction with the Senior Systems Engineers when required.
Reports to the Manager, IT Infrastructure.

Will work closely with vendors to identify and implement/procure relevant technologies required to enhance IT services
Provide Support and assistance to Senior System Engineers and IT Managers when required in setting up or troubleshooting servers, applications, or services.
Perform routine hardware and software installations/upgrades on servers, cloud solutions, and other key equipment such as Application Delivery Controllers, Network USB devices, etc.

Respond to requests for technical assistance from users within the organization in person, via phone, or remotely.

Educational requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent discipline.

Experience requirements:

3 to 5 years experience in Azure Administration.
Experience with Microsoft Azure, and Active Directory. Certification on the platforms will be an added advantage.

Desired Skills:

Reports to the Manager, IT Infrastructure.
Liaises and coordinates with the Senior Systems Engineers to resolve issues/problems facing users.
Liaises with external suppliers to secure IT products and services.

Exhibits and maintains an excellent relationship with all Crescent staff.
Provide prompt and quick service to users.

Qualifications:

Ability to work in a team environment with members of varying skill levels.

Highly motivated.
Learns quickly.
