4. Communication – not just words

Every leader must have an ability to communicate well. Both internally and externally in various forms, everything from large groups to two-way conversations. Being a skilled communicator can be one of the most important leadership qualities. Effective leaders communicate constantly, clearly and with a purpose. Communication is not just about speaking and writing.
