Job – Organization Design Manager

Job Responsibilities:

As Organisation Design Manager you will develop and recommend macro operating model and organization designs across Chalhoub Group, partnering with the business on strategic priorities and business transformations, to ensure the Group is effectively organized to deliver its strategy.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Diagnose, design, deliver and monitor prioritised strategic operating model and organization design initiatives across Chalhoub Group, often crossing multiple functions, business units and geographies
  • Lead end to end OD project delivery tailored to specific business needs, ensuring that designs are attainable and effective ways of working are established within required timelines
  • Embody a strategic organization design and effectiveness partner to advise, steer, coach and amicably challenge business leaders and senior HR decision makers, whilst providing options and recommended solutions to aid decision making
  • Apply deep specialist OD and change expertise and consultancy to support People Partners on specific OD initiatives, such as OD approach, application of OD tools, assurance of designs etc
  • Drive best practice in organization design and effectiveness across the Group, including development of toolkits and roll out of consistent standards to establish a common OD framework and templates across the Group. Work with L&D on OD masterclasses and upskilling of People Partners and business stakeholders
  • Recommend OD blueprints to facilitate the Group’s strategic ambitions and enable People Partners to effectively “plug and play” these for their business areas
  • Support the Head of Organization Design to ensure the ongoing relevance and governance of Group job architecture, championing ways to simplify and enhance this in collaboration with other areas of People & Culture (HR), such as Rewards and Talent Management

Job Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated specialist level of Organization Design and Effectiveness expertise deployed in large, complex organizations
  • Demonstrated experience developing innovative, logical and attainable operating models that meet business requirements
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of job architecture best practice
  • Organizational change management experience
  • Demonstrated project management and governance of large-scale OD projects, including flexibility to adapt an approach and timelines as needed
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (qualitative and quantitative), as well as the ability to simplify complexities to make them easy to navigate through
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills at all levels and diversities, with the ability to provide effective OD coaching and influence senior stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and storytelling skills, both written and spoken
  • Well informed about OD methodologies, trends and best practice, bringing relevance to the Group
  • Management consultancy experience in an OD capacity is desirable
