Planning Engineer – Job Description

• Understanding project specifications and contract documents, and developing time schedules and budgets that meet them.
• Monitoring and tracking project progress, and writing up reports.
• Attending and scheduling meetings as required.
• Utilizing Primavera P6 to prepare baselines, updates, and extension of time claims.
• Providing technical assistance to project team and leading correspondence with stakeholders and subcontractors/clients.
• Understanding and meeting all contract requirements.
• Prepare plans and schedules for all project delivery.
• Recommend appropriate improvements where necessary, and create recovery plans.
• Maintain an efficient performance of all schedules and analyze all software tools and assist in transmission and distribution of all various projects.
• Perform regular analysis of all schedule trends.
• Provide support to all operations and extension requests.
• Prepare progress payments and settlements.
• Assist in quantity surveys and variations.
• Lead the documentation for projects handover with the project teams.

Planning Engineer – Job Requirement

• Must have MMUP/UPDA Grade (A) and a minimum of 12 years working experience.
• BTech/BE in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering
• with 12+ years of experience in Project Planning.
• Applicant should be well versed with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and advanced Excel applications Knowledge in Primavera (P6) Project Management software to be able to prepare Weekly, Monthly and Dashboard project reports for the Client and the management.
• Should be able to define WBS from Level 1 to Level 4 from the Scope of works. Coordinate with Site and HO team in preparing the detailed activities for the Project Schedule.
• Exposure in project time extension.
• Exposure in preparing Delay Analysis.
• Monitoring the Critical Activities
• High Proficiency in English
• Hands-on experience with complex data research activities
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Critical-thinker and problem-solver
