Responsibilities :
Planning, Budget, and Strategy
• Create cost comparison budgets according to production requirements
• Strategise new ways that support ease of doing business within the day-to-day operations of the production team
• Be the driving force for production requirements and assist the team as a whole
• Discuss feedback with team members to understand what could be implemented to better serve the team across productions
• Create tenders including Purchase Requests forms, Scope of Works documents, Tender Plans, and Commercial Returnable documents
• Work with procurement and procurement processes to support production requirements
• Work with partner relationship manager to source additional suppliers and increase supplier base for productions
• Ensure de-briefs and post-production analysis is carried out post-production and a report is written to analyse what can be better achieved moving forward
• Manage the relationship and the activities handled with our business partner such as (MBC Group)
• Good negotiation skills to manage and get a good deal with the local suppliers and service providers.
• Build and handle a good relationship with the other sectors for smooth processing of our requirements from them
- People Management
- Support the team in ensuring they have what they need to execute a flawless production.
- Support with onboarding of SMPs and other consultants and contractors within the Production team
- Assist with ad-hoc needs from the team across projects to leverage existing knowledge and ensure that there is consistency of knowledge across the production team
Educational requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline
Experience requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience in a Production role with a focus on Procurement and Cost Analysis
- Experience working in the Middle East
Desired Skills:
- 5+ years in Procurement Consulting
- Relevant industry qualifications
Qualifications:
- Track record of successful end-to-end delivery of Film & TV/Commercial projects and programmes
- Experience working in the Middle East
- Speaking Arabic is preferred
