Senior Billing Supervisor – Job Description

Job Description

Oversee the preparation of statements and bills. Ensure all the customer invoices have been issued and submitted on time.

Ensure that department milestones/goals are met. On-time month-end closing for all RTW billing transactions. Submission of Revenue reports (RTW-DXB) to the HOD by the 2nd working day of every month.
Handling internal and external queries related to invoices and bills.
Coordinating with customers for GRN’s & POs to complete invoice submission.

Uploading all related invoices on the customer’s web portal. Interfacing with the accounts receivable, credit/collections, and client purchasing departments.
Review work of billing staff to ensure accuracy, resolving inconsistencies as needed.
Support the finance team for disputed and uncollected invoices. Provide customer support to customers with disputes or inquiries concerning invoices or billing processes.

Draft and distribute monthly reports of invoicing and billing metrics. (ADHOC and MIS reports).
Monthly closure revenue report/reconciliation to submit to Finance department.
Issuance of Credit notes based on the invoicing/Customs refunds and Proforma invoice generation.

Coordinate with the BD team to update the Contract Rate Master in the system for billing.
Analysis of the monthly revenue vs budgeted revenue and billing accuracy.
Invoice dispatch, Customer acknowledgment, Filling, and documentation.

Customs DUTY / VAT Payment management and refund processing.
Support internal & external auditing team by providing relevant documents.
Manage subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.

Ensure current billing practices comply with UAE rules & VAT regulations.
Implementing, and enforcing procedures and policies, as well as streamlining effective billing processes.
Perform any other duties related to the RTW Operation billing as assigned by the RTW, GM / Product Head and Finance Head.

Desired Candidate Profile

5 years’ experience in the related area as an individual contributor.
2 – 3 years of supervisory experience in a similar role / Transport industry preferred.
Experience with a large customer base and high transaction volume.

Proficiency with Oracle-E-Business & Microsoft Office Suite
