Job Title – ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR – (Requisition ID: 2200006W) Jobs in KSA

Responsibilities:

Overview of the role:
ROLES AND RESPONSABILITIES:

Key Activities
Monitor the implementation of standardized Accounting policies, practices, and procedures
Recommend improvements of SANAD’s Accounting systems to ensure it performs effectively and up to SANAD’s standards

Monitor the overall administration of accounting and the services provided within its realm for the designated area office within SANAD
Review operational accounting entries such as payables, receivables, collections, sub ledger reconciliation, and monthly financial statements ensuring compliance with internal financial standards
Ensure the maintenance of country or area statutory books on the ORACLE system

Review variance analyses and prepare MD&A (Management Discussion and Analysis) for senior management
Assist Finance & Administration Manager in treasury-related activities, internal and external compliance audits, tax reporting, preparing of the annual budget and annual forecast
Monitor cashflow management at SANAD ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures

Highlight the potential risks in the department and recommend risk mitigation approach to senior management
Provide assistance to SANAD’s other business units on issues pertinent to job function; participate in performing routine checks and inspections to ensure the highest safety and quality standards are being maintained if required
Adapt to, and participate in, any programs/changes in SANAD including but not limited to strategic initiatives, operational initiatives and performance uplift tasks; conduct any relevant work that may result from these changes as an integral part of this job description and employment contract

Perform any other activity as required by the company both at the company premises and remotely when requested by the company
Proactively seek out information that is relevant to job role whether internally or externally to efficiently and effectively deliver. Remain up to date with context of the Company and the role within it to provide insight into potential opportunities and/or challenges
Contribute to the execution and delivery of any activities as and when required to ensure the continuity of work in the absence of other colleagues

Ensure high level of employee engagement and capability development by providing on-going feedback and coaching team members within Finance department
Distribute and allocate day-to-day business activities to direct subordinates and supervise execution and delivery of operational tasks and assignments by providing on-the-job guidance and support

Educational requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a relevant field

Experience requirements:

A Minimum of at least 4-5 years of relevant experience

Desired Skills:

Oversee the work of employees responsible for accounts payable, revenue audit, accounts receivable, and payroll

Maintain local files as per tax legislation
Liaise with customers for timely invoicing & collection
Review all balance sheet reconciliations for accuracy and completeness purposes

Prepare & review balance sheet reconciliation
Monitor cash transfer requests and foreign currency exposure
Ensure that capital expenditures are properly authorized and coded

Qualifications:

professional qualifications; i.e. ACCA, CPA, CA, or CMA
