Responsibilities:

  • Job Description
  • Developing and proposing legislation for licensing management in accordance with international best practices and working to update them in accordance with developments in the field; And discussing them with the concerned departments
  • Preparing strategic policies for approved legislation and operational policies for operations related to licensing social service providers, working on evaluating them, and submitting development recommendations.
  • Preparing criteria and indicators for the quality of social services in the Emirate of Dubai, to ensure the provision of high-quality social services.
  • Preparing and developing a framework for practicing the profession and work ethics for social professions that are licensed by the Community Development Authority.
  • Preparing, reviewing, and studying the introduction of fees and violations related to the licensing and control sector, and reviewing them with the Department of Finance of the Government of Dubai and the Supreme Legislation Committee.
  • Follow up and study the reactions of customers by analyzing relevant opinion questionnaires to prepare development plans for legislation, policies and standards.
  • Providing the necessary guidance and technical support to social service providers and guiding them on how to implement social service standards.
  • Conducting benchmarking studies with local and international agencies and studying best practices in the field of licensing and reporting.
  • Periodically reviewing the performance of applying quality standards with social service providers and proposing amendments according to societal requirements and needs.
  • Work to provide all data and information related to legislation, policies, and standards to the internal bodies in the authority, including departments and sections, and external parties, through the development of an electronic system in cooperation with the Information Technology Department.
  • Preparing periodic reports to monitor the achievement of plans to prepare and develop legislation, policies and standards, and update them.
  • Adhere to the information security policies and procedures approved by the Authority and work to comply with the controls to ensure the confidentiality of information.
  • Any other tasks and specializations within the scope of the job responsibilities.

Educational requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Labor Management, Quality Management, or equivalent.
    Fluent in English and Arabic (spoken and written)

Experience requirements:

  • A minimum of At least 5 years of experience in the field of quality and standards, including at least two years of experience in dealing with licensing standards.
