Job – T&D Senior Community Management Specialist – HR

Job Description:

To drive an informal, self-led learning culture at Alshaya, the T&D Community Manager defines the marketing plan for the full Talent & Development solutions. The Community Manager is accountable for the campaigns management and the Alshaya Learning Community animation facilitation..

Accountabilities (but not limited to):

Establish the communication plan to promote T&D Solutions

  • Understand the patterns and Talent Development cycle
  • Define the ideal marketing calendar
  • Implement communication and scoping tools for effective campaigns management
  • Coach and provide advice to the T&D leaders to define most relevant brand essence for the function
  • Collaborate with TX to align graphic, visual and key messages
  • Engage with Deployment team to enable and align communication

Enable Community-based learning to engage people with informal learning

  • Establish communication channels/tools to enable better knowledge sharing and empower learning community managers in the business
  • Support implementation of semi-formal learning structures to facilitate knowledge sharing, problem-solving
  • Promote learning community initiatives, document and publish on the identified platforms and in collaboration with Corporate Communication
  • Collaborate with company stakeholders for successful implementation of User Generated Content seeking

Managing the T&D solutions campaigns to increase engagement and guarantee adoption

  • Set, plan and implement T&D campaigns
  • Provide engaging content for the communication platform
  • Collaborate with Corporate Communication to align T&D campaign calendar with the Internal communication activities

Measuring effectiveness

  • Implement processes to guarantee constant connection with the users and communities (listening)
  • Collect the data from People and customer feedback, communities, customers to identify opportunities to feed back the T&D SME and seek improvement
  • Collaborate with the content editor to establish principles of moderations

Promote a self-learning culture aligned with the organisation agenda and the people aspiration

  • Identify creative solutions to engage people to share content, knowledge and use the semi-formal community’s framework to collaborate
  • Implement a Talent Development events framework

  • People Analytics training: Develop proficiency with Power BI

Job Qualifications:

Qualifications and General Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent | MA Marketing & Communication.
  • Arabic is highly preferable. Fully proficient in English.
  • Use of technology: Proficient Microsoft pack office | SharePoint | Social Media platforms.
  • Strategic planning| Story Telling | Public Relations | Analytics | Tech savvy | Digitally adventurous.
  • Minimum on the job experience: 5 years minimum in Marketing field.

Work Context:

  • Solution high level design: Set, plan and implement communication plans and engagement strategies to drive an informal, self-led learning culture and promote the T&D solution.
  • Campaigns & content management: 60% of the time to manage campaigns – 20% of the time to develop content and animate the communities, customer listening sessions – 20% People analytics and strategy to improve adoption.
  • Duration of a typical work week: 8 hours per day/5 days/week – Business travel.
  • Communicating with Stakeholders, Peers, internal customers: Collaborating with T&D leadership to successfully plan the campaigns, high engagement with Corporate Communication team | Content Editor coaching.
