Job Title – Assistant Vice President – Property Insurance Underwriting | Orient Insurance Jobs in Dubai, AE

Responsibilities:

Educational requirements:

• Any Bachelor’s Degree

Experience requirements:

• A Minimum of at least 10 years of work experience, at least 5 years, of which is in a Managerial position handling Underwriting, and should demonstrate progressive development in career.

Desired Skills:

• Job-Specific Skills:
• Should have attention to detail and strong analytical skills

Qualifications:

• Must possess sound technical knowledge on Underwriting of Property Insurance with in-depth exposure.
• Should have knowledge and experience on the Reinsurance placements for large/complex risks
• Proven expert knowledge of commercial insurance standard wordings and market-driven wordings
• Ability to work independently with experience and exposure to self-manage large complex insurance programs
• Good organizational skills with proven ability to prioritize workload in meeting deadlines and agreed on TAT
• Good skills in MS office (Excel, Word, PPT) Outlook, and internet application
• Working as a key stakeholder on projects related or product development and contributing to product innovation
• Work collaboratively in a team environment assisting underwriters and underwriting assistants, including development and training of junior staff
• We prefer candidates having work experience with Managerial exposure in GCC countries.
