Job Title – Refinery Coordinator Jobs in Doha, Qatar
Responsibilities:
- Comply with Safety / Health / Environmental policy
- Maintain detailed runouts / volume balances to monitor inventory positions
- Build forward looking runplans and projections to aid in scheduling refinery feedstocks / products
- Coordinate marine and pipeline movements into and out of the refinery
- Understand unit and general plant economic drivers to effectively implement daily optimization
- Support advancement of the long term strategy of supported units
- Plan logistics for unit turnarounds and outages
- Develop economic cases for long term unit improvements/projects
- Maintain working relationships with third party terminals / service providers
- Mentor less experienced engineers / coordinators
- Read and comprehend linear programming modeling results and translate into refinery signals
Educational requirements:
- B.S. in Chemical Engineering or other relevant engineering backgrounds
- Minimum 3 years relevant work experience. This includes experience in a manufacturing / operating plant environment, and/or supporting refining or petrochemical facilities.
Experience requirements:
- Greater than 3 years work experience in a refining manufacturing environment
- Experience in refining operations
- Experience with feedstock or product scheduling
- Experience with economic modeling or advanced scheduling software
- Demonstrated capital project development experience or process engineering experience
- Experience with Microsoft Excel
- Able to demonstrate leadership, initiative, teamwork, interpersonal effectiveness and self confidence
