Job Title – Senior Credit Officer Jobs in Amsterdam, Netherlands

Responsibilities:

Maintaining the debtor master data and the correct creation of debtor files;
Carrying out credit checks on new customers and monitoring credit limits on existing customers including blocking/unblocking customers for deliveries, advising on customer creditworthiness;

Maintaining contact with collection agencies and building and monitoring the files;
Processing payments in the accounts receivable and taking care of financial reconciliations;
Daily contact with debtors regarding outstanding items;

Optimize and/or automate contacts with debtors regarding outstanding items;
Communicate and resolve disputes and/or claims from debtors with the finance and operational departments;
Giving solicited and unsolicited advice to optimize processes.

Educational requirements:

Do you have MBO 4 or HBO working and thinking level, preferably a completed financial education (credit management);
You have good knowledge of Dutch laws and regulations regarding customer data, invoicing, collection, etc.;

Preferably you have at least 3-5 years of experience in a similar position;
You have excellent oral and written communication skills in the Dutch and English language;

Experience requirements:

You have good experience with ERP software, preferably SAP and also good knowledge of MS-office applications (especially Excel).
