Job Title – Tendering Lead Jobs in Dammam, Ash Sharqīyah, Saudi Arabia

Responsibilities:

  • You as a Tendering Lead will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You will be adapting and implementing tendering strategy for telecommunications systems & services in accordance with the global or regional sales strategy. Ensuring technical and commercial support for internal and external customers. Preparing technical and commercial proposals ensuring alignment with HEGA standards and targets. Responsibilities: Strategy: Creating, implementing and reviewing local tendering strategy.
  • Targets: Defining key targets and ensuring these are achieved for the internal or external customer support. Proposal development: Preparing technical and commercial proposals through internal and external resources. Ensuring that all proposals follow relevant HEGA procedures and guidelines, as well as legal requirements.
  • Competitiveness: Ensuring most competitive offers, considering the market situation and customer’s conditions. Identifying which approach (e.g. direct sales, consortium, or channel) can be applied to better serve the customer. Terms and conditions: Overseeing review and validation of terms and conditions commercial, technical, legal, pricing in each offer.
  • Resource allocation: Assigning and allocating internal and external resources for technical and commercial support and proposal preparation. Risk: Supporting bid or no bid analyses and decisions. Participating in project risk review processes. Customer: Ensuring support to the sales organization during technical meetings, product presentations and negotiations with customers and provides technical or commercial support and clarification as needed. People leadership and development:
  • Ensuring (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Coaching, motivating and developing direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies. Driving and ensuring know-how sharing and cross-collaboration. Safety and integrity: Living Hitachi Energy core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.
  • Strong background on Power Grids Telecommunications. Proficiency in both spoken & written English is required.

 

Educational requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering

 

Experience requirements:

  • 10 to 15 years of experience in T&D industries. Strong knowledge of the Saudi Arabia Telecommunications market and customer network. Proven negotiation and communication skills.
