Assistant Product Manager – Job Requirements
Product Management
- Product portfolio/mix management, pricing strategy development
- Forecasting and reporting in various aspects of product management (e.g,. sales, inventory, etc)
- Product specification update and maintenance
- Sample management
Marketing & Promotion
- UAE, GCC countries sales promotion development
- Marketing strategy, product positioning and defining target market
- Product launch management including LLP (local launching plan) development, and target launch date
Reporting & Analysis
- Goal and KPI management for business and product marketing
- SCM forecasting, preparation of Sub/RHQ/HQ reporting
- P&L management, market assessment
- Full P&L ownership, trend analysis, competitive landscape, monitoring roadmap
Requirements
Candidate requirements
- Be able to demonstrate a high level of multitasking efficiency & priority setting
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret data studies
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, distributors
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate marketing initiative
- Ability to work under minimum supervision
- Initiative and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
Qualifications
- Must hold a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Management role
Experience: (describe what experience this position will require the job holder to have obtained in past roles within or outside of SGE that would demonstrate a level of proficiency in the stated role)
- Understanding of the Consumer Electronics market dynamics and technology
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to effectively present information to top management, public group and or client
- Computer literate and advanced user of MS office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
