Job Title – Legal Advisor Jobs in Dubai, UAE

Responsibilities:

Support and plan for legislation and regulations related to social work to ensure the implementation of the Authority’s strategy and work to support the development and implementation of general strategies.
Follow-up ensuring the correct application of the laws and legislations in force in the Authority of all kinds in an optimal manner.
Work, Spreading legal awareness to all the Authority’s employees through various means.

Building relationships with legal institutions, which in turn provide the necessary legal support to the Authority in managing its operations.
Develop legal strategies and general policies for the Authority to help reduce lawsuits and overcome disputes and problems with external parties.
Monitoring government laws and regulations that affect the work of the Commission and presenting them to the line manager for discussion and making the necessary legal recommendations.

Preparing regulations and administrative decisions issued by the sectors, internal circulars, reviewing policies, and preparing and reviewing legislation related to the work of the Authority.
Supervising the taking of legal procedures, supervising the preparation of executive decisions in this regard, and following up the procedures with the relevant organizational units in the Authority and the strategic partners.
Providing legal advice to the Authority’s internal and external clients.

Supervising the legal clinic program concerned with receiving inquiries from citizens and residents in the Emirate of Dubai and providing free legal advice in cooperation with a group of volunteer lawyers.
Ensuring that the Authority’s sectors are acquainted with the new legislations related to the Authority’s work.

Educational requirements:

Bachelor’s or Bachelor’s degree in Law Sciences / International Law or equivalent. Obtained a professional license to practice law

Experience requirements:

A minimum of At least 8 years of experience in the field of human rights, including at least 4 years in the fields of legal affairs and law in a leading institution
