Responsibilities:
- Job Description
- Preparing policies, procedures, standards and conditions necessary to provide rehabilitation services for juveniles arrested and sentenced to measures, and working to achieve the approved indicators at the local level.
- Preparing rehabilitation, correctional and training programs for juveniles deposited, supervising their implementation according to approved plans and standards, and working on developing them to ensure that juveniles do not return.
- Achieving the index of ensuring non-recurrence among juveniles by developing plans to study the causes of recurrence and identifying programs that limit them.
- Monitoring the needs and requirements of the juveniles who are deposited and applying the best practices in care and rehabilitation in the center with the aim of providing a family environment during their placement period.
- Introducing and developing programs to qualify and empower juveniles and work to attract partners from various parties to implement and achieve qualification results and program outputs in accordance with best practices.
- Follow-up specialists and supervisors and their commitment to implementing rehabilitation and care programs for juvenile delinquents in the center, and ensure that requirements are met, empowerment standards are met, and follow-up intervention plans for juveniles.
- Preparing an annual analytical study on the crimes of juvenile delinquents and their relationship to several variables (age, sex, place of residence, education, nationality, etc.) and making recommendations.
- Following up the results of the juvenile care and rehabilitation programs and making recommendations to the Director of the Department in order to improve and develop the programs in line with the achievement of the indicators.
- Work to develop solutions to the problems of juveniles deposited in the center in accordance with the laws, regulations, policies and internal procedures of the center.
- Adopting the intervention plans developed by the specialists, and amending them if necessary in cases of recurrence, ensuring that the programs cover the elements and causes of delinquency, and then supervising their implementation.
- Reviewing and approving periodic reports submitted to juveniles by specialists to the judicial and parliamentary authorities with the aim of ensuring that empowerment standards are met and reducing the rate of recidivism.
- Adhere to the information security policies and procedures approved by the Authority and work to comply with the controls to ensure the confidentiality of information.
- Any other duties and specializations within the scope of the job responsibilities.
Educational requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Special Education, or equivalent.
Certified certificate of proficiency in sign language. Proficiency in both English and Arabic languages (conversational and written)
Experience requirements:
- A minimum of At least 8- 10 years of experience in the field of juvenile rehabilitation, including 3 years of experience in a supervisory position
