Sales Supervisor Job Purpose:

To assist store manager in managing day-to-day store operations by implementing company business objectives, policies and procedures, and driving commercial performance for the purpose of achieving store objectives.

Sales Supervisor Job Accountabilities::

  • Assist store manager in planning & assigning clearly understood daily sales targets to the team.
  • Set and agree sales and operational objectives to ensure sales targets and other business objectives are achieved.
  • Greet all customers promptly and courteously as they enter the store
  • Direct customers throughout the store or to the specific area the customer requests
  • Find out the specific needs of each customer that enters the store
  • Maintain control over the various zones in the shop floor
  • Increase the customer base by adding new customers to the mailing list
  • Maintain a positive and cheerful attitude with the team and motivate them constantly to sell more
  • Monitor performance level of staff and drive hourly sales, daily sales and monthly targets.
  • Responsible to increase the Transformation Rate (Convert visitors to the store to customers)
  • Monitor hourly sales, daily sales and monthly targets
  • Check stock daily to ensure that all products are adequately stocked and available for customers
  • Ensure the brand image is reflected at the store
  • Train and promote high customer service standards
  • Participate in periodic inventory as and when required
  • Willingness to work in shifts
  • Deputize for the Store Manager during periods of leave.

Minimum Qualifications/Experience/Knowledge/Skills

  • Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree Experience 2-3 years’ experience in a Customer Service / Sales role. Minimum 1 years in a Supervisory role.
  • Knowledge/Skills Basic IT skills Language (Job Specific) Excellent verbal communication skills English being a prerequisite Physical Requirements (For Showroom & Warehouse Jobs) Ability to carry out manual duties, stand for long periods of time and lift light to medium loads.
  • Knowledge/Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Basic IT skills Language (Job Specific) Excellent verbal communication skills English being a prerequisite Physical Requirements (For Showroom & Warehouse Jobs) Ability to carry out manual duties, stand for long periods of time and lift light to medium loads
