How to deal with it:  To do successful business with this boss type, you need to speak his language. So when you have an idea, make sure you have the necessary data to share with it. What you need to do is find ways to contact him directly without being offensive or rude. Try to communicate with him face to face and answer some of his emails by knocking on his door. This form of communication will be more right for both of you.
