Job Title – Training Manager Jobs in Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a training needs assessment including but not limited to meeting with managers to check their department needs, surveying employees, checking the performance appraisal reports, and ensuring that the organization and employee meets are addressed.
  • Evaluate individual and organizational performance to ensure training is meeting business needs and improving performance
  • Design, plan, and implement competency-based training programs and compile policies, and procedures to fulfill those needs.
  • Reviews existing training programs and suggest modifications and enhancements ensuring that training materials and programs are current, accurate, and effective.
  • Modifies and creates course materials and compile user manuals to meet specific training needs.
  • Come up with a yearly competency-based training calendar.
  • Select and manage resources, including working with both internal and external resources to develop and deliver training
  • Schedules training sessions, organizes information technology and other equipment, and manages course enrolment.
  • Manage the new employee orientation and ensure all employees are inducted.
  • Ensure all employees attend the yearly mandatory courses.
  • Monitors training program and report on key performance indicators considering the costs of planned programs and keeping activities within budgets and tracking the return on investment.
  • Works with managers to address learning issues, instruction problems, or new educational needs regarding specific employees or departments
  • Put in place performance improvement plans for employees and follow up on progress.
  • Ensure that each employee has a development plan in line with his or her appraisal and career ladder.
  • Apply new training methods depending on topics delivered.
  • Maintains knowledge of new methods and techniques for training, and training requirements applicable to the organization and/or industry.
  • Stay abreast of trends and good practices in training, e-learning, personal and professional development.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

 

Educational requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in public administration or Human Resources. Master’s degree is preferred
  • Train the trainer certificate is a must.
  • Knowledge of learning and development best practices
  • A proven track record of training program development and management

 

Experience requirements:

  • 5 years’ experience in a similar position in competency-based training.
  • Proficient in using MS Office Tools.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and non-verbal).
  • Familiarity with modern training methods.
  • Confidence to conduct workshops and sessions.
  • Ability to develop training manuals.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks at a time.
  • Exceptional leadership skills.
