About Operations Manager- Training Jobs in Saudi Arabia
Role Purpose
- The NCSA Operations Manager is responsible for developing and managing operational activities, including the monitoring of Workplace Safety and Health strategies for the Academy locations, and overseeing manpower, systems, financial and resource plans.
- Analyses operations data and determines new strategies to enhance the efficiency of processes, which includes assessing the viability of new machinery and technologies.
- Development and implementation of the NCSA Learner Management System (LMS), Booking Processes and Facilities management. Compliance in all NEOM Projects by established organizations, establishing required communications between NCSA Employees and their stakeholders.
- Management of efficient Training Academy support for projects in all project phases and management of trainer or assessor logistics. At the centre or remote locations
- Ensure training activity in all projects is maintained and aligned with accordance to NEOM Construction Skills Academy and NEOM Authority requirements for reporting and maintaining Individual Learner Records (ILS) through use of LMS and manual records management.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES
- Assist NCSA Training Departments (HSE & Construction Skills) in assigning roles and responsibilities to key personnel in emergencies pertaining to safety in the workplace.
- Collaborate with quality management team to identify operational processes to be prioritized for quality improvements following stakeholder feedback.
- Establish operational management policies that adhere to NEOM HSE and facilities guidelines.
- Implement policies based on assigned performance measurement standards and indicators.
- Lead and engage employees in daily management to drive sustainable, continuous improvements in environmental, safety, quality and productivity, and to ensure on-time delivery.
- Liaise with quality management teams to ensure operational adherence to quality management policies.
- Manage career development for operations team.
- Manage cost, quality and schedule, as well as health, safety and environmental activities for the site.
- Manage strategic relationships with internal and external partners and vendors.
- Monitor organizational preparation for internal and external operational audits from LPFS, Projects or Certification approval bodies such as NEBOSH, IPAF etc.
- Review work capacity requirements and trainer utilisation to identify potential areas of new business opportunities.
Plan and execute regular audits for the Academy team activities to reassure stakeholders.
BACKGROUND, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- 10 Years of experience in Education based Operations Management
- Knowledge of Incident Investigation and Root cause analysis techniques.
- Leadership skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of all Safety and health standards, including construction, plant Safety, general industry, and industry standards.
- Experience in managing education-based systems and facilities.
- Experience preparing required stakeholder reports and demonstrated record of driving performance improvements.
- Knowledge of Construction Academy / Training Centre Operations management
- Ability to apply principles of measurement and analysis to evaluate Academy performance.
- Possess good presentation skills and be able to market the benefits of quality to all stakeholders.
- Knowledge of providing logistics and accommodation support to Internal and external training providers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant subject.
