About Construction Skills Training Manager Jobs in Saudi Arabia
Role Purpose
- Implement NEOM HSE Training procedures ensuring best practice and compliance to provide advice, guidance, and support to all personnel including, Managers and engineers at all levels on all matters relating to the safe use of a variety of construction plant & equipment (MEWPs, Lifting Equipment, Scaffold, Excavation etc). Use of a variety of training methods to ensure that leadership is always innovative, cutting edge, yet practical and compliant.
- Development and implementation of Construction Skills training curriculum and course materials to assure its Compliance in all NEOM Projects by established organizations. Provision of training & assessment. internal auditing programs to meet NEOM corporate and project Health & Safety Assurance Standards and Safety Management System in the safe use of Construction plant & equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver construction plant & equipment user training programs to employees at all levels of the organization. (IPAF, PASMA, LEEA, NPORS, CITB or equivalent)
- Conduct training needs assessments to identify gaps in knowledge and skills within subject areas.
- Create and maintain training materials, including presentations, handouts, and online resources.
- Coordinate with subject matter experts to ensure training content is accurate and up-to-date.
- Help schedule and facilitate training sessions, including classroom and online formats with third party expertise if required.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and feedback.
- Provide ongoing support to employees by answering questions and providing additional resources.
- Stay up to date on industry best practices and regulations related to Construction Skills training.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate skills training into their processes and procedures.
- Promote a culture of safety and compliance throughout the organization.
- Protect company interest and Zero Harm policies and protection of plant & equipment for users.
- Ensure continuous improvements in the use of Construction plant & equipment at NEOM, ensuring competent use, maintenance, and storage, plus protection of those working in their vicinity.
BACKGROUND, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- 10 Years of experience in Construction Skills Safety training
- Certification in a variety of HSE Construction Skills plant & equipment training or relevant field, such as CITB / IPAF / PASMA / CISRS / LEEA .
- Demonstrated knowledge of all Safety and health standards, including construction, plant Safety, general industry, and industry standards.
- Experience as a certified trainer/tutor/instructor in developing construction skills training and compliance programs, including the ability to conduct and facilitate training as required.
- Experience working with diverse teams and multicultural environments.
- Ability to effectively deliver training sessions to large groups.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in using training software and learning management systems.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree /L6 Diploma in Engineering/HSE subject or equivalent.
