- Attend career job fairs, recruiting open houses and community events to pro-actively attract the best candidates.
- Review recruitment policies to ensure effectiveness of selection techniques and recruitment programs.
- Participate in special projects as assigned.
- Ensure compliance with laws affect recruiting and screening functions such as national’s preference, background checks, document collection and so forth.
- Establish operational hiring metrics to measure the efficiency of the hiring process and focus on effectiveness of outcomes.
- Perform other responsibilities associated with the position as appropriate.
- Facilitate interview scheduling, candidate travel logistics, interview assessments, recruit reimbursements, answer inquiries regarding payments.
- Request references and check the suitability of applicants before submitting their details to the departments within RTA.
- Conduct research, studies, and drafts/compile reports of findings and recommendations.
- Track and obtain documentation, data, and forms to support process and compliance requirements.
- Devise plans for sourcing from different channels: internal and external database search, close hiring of candidates, co-ordinate with concerned employees for finalizing interviewing panels.
- Assist in the development of effective recruiting strategies.
- Develop and conduct training sessions on recruiting practices for the departments.
- Motivate and provide clear direction to recruitment team through on-going feedback regarding expectations, roles, responsibilities, achievements and opportunities for success.
- Design and implement robust recruiting procedures that ensures consistent and productive results.
- Act as a point of contact for assigned departments and ensure superior customer service experiences effective recruitment practices to support Authority’s initiatives.
- Supervise the Recruiting Services team consisting of Recruiters dedicated to provide impeccable service to every department within RTA.
- Implement the recruiting services activities from the advertisement of positions, participate in social media recruitments, organize job fairs, manage the skill testing process and conduct recruiting workshops to hire employees.
- Handle assigned recruitment activities including but not limited to Offer letter, appointment letter, on boarding and other related activities.
- Understand the job specification for head hunting, screening, short-listing, telephonic interviews, reference checks for the candidates, follow up for the feedback, confirmation and joining.
- Prepare Recruitment reports and review KPIs in light with RTA’s standards.
Educational requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration from a recognized university
Experience requirements:
- 6 years of working experience in a relevant field.
Desired Skills:
- Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing.
- Excellent Business writing skills.
Qualifications:
